Objectives
1. To increase public awareness of bioethics.
2. To involve the public in bioethical concerns and to help them make informed
decisions in their lives.
3. To provide a bioethical forum for free and responsible exchange of views and
opinions and exploring plausible solutions.
4. To offer an academic platform for study and research in bioethics.
Policies
1. CPAB subscribes to the inalienable worth and dignity of the human person and
the common good of humanity.
2. CPAB takes multidisciplinary approach to bioethics and bioethical issues, giving
sufficient emphasis on scientific, social and theoretical aspects.
3. CPAB does not engage in any political advocacy, even when it addresses the
bioethical aspects of public policy and the economic and social implications of
biotechnological, medical and biosafety matters.
4. While it remains religiously unaffiliated, CPAB acknowledges the significance of
insights of different faith traditions in understanding and safeguarding
human dignity.

3. Print and online publications in bioethics and related subjects.
4. Collaboration with theater and arts to increase public awareness in bioethics.
