WHAT IS BIOETHICS?
Bioethics is the study of the ethical issues
surrounding human conduct and human values
in the development and application of science, medicine and technology.

Bioethics can involve ethical discussions on a broad range of topics, some of which include: healthcare, biotechnology, environment, embryonic stem cell research, human egg donation, genetic engineering, recombinant DNA, genetically engineered food, affordable medical care, high cost of prescription drugs, nanotechnology, genetics, eugenics, gene therapy, doctor-patient relationship, genetically engineered viruses, biological warfare, biosafety, alternative medicine, Lyme Disease, microchipping, and human experimentation. Bioethics shares many of the concerns with science, philosophy, religion, ethics and morality, art, law, human dignity and human rights.
